As of April 2025, the HS2 project continues to make significant strides in and around Calvert Green. Notably, the construction of the Calvert Road overbridge is progressing, with completion now anticipated in January 2026.
Additionally, a temporary link road connecting Calvert Green to the Claydons is scheduled to open to public traffic in May 2026.
The community remains engaged through events such as the EKFB HS2 drop-in session held on 20 February 2025 at Calvert Green Village Hall, where residents had the opportunity to discuss project developments and upcoming works. Ongoing updates are provided via newsletters and official communications to keep residents informed about the project’s impact on the local area.
