“Further to the consultation response from Calvert Green Parish Council dated 24 June 2008 WRG have provided a revised restoration plan for the site without the callow screening bund. The modifications to the restoration plan include:
minor recontouring of the existing callow mound to resolve any potential instability but leaving a natural looking feature; leaving existing trees and scrub growing on the mound undisturbed as far as possible; In accordance with the agreed planting schedule, around three hundred trees and shrubs have recently been planted on the village green, and over time as they grow, they provide an degree of screening.
