Calvert Green Village website

Nextstep is a free service to the public and is government funded via the Learning and Skills Council. The service supports anyone aged 20 and above with any aspect of learning and work. Clients can be employed or unemployed and of any academic level. We offer support and information with gaining employment ie. cv writing, applications, interviews etc., changing jobs, gaining qualifications, voluntary work and leisure classes, returning to work after a career break, confidence building etc.
This could be made available to the residents of Calvert Green and possibly the surrounding areas. This could take place at the community centre and would be a unique service to support all residents who may be dealing with some of the issues as mentioned ie. redundancy.
We work very closely with Bucks Adult Learning, Aylesbury and MK College, Voluntary Sector, Jobcentre Plus, local libraries to name just a few.
