With arrangements in hand to fill the current vacancies on the Council. Any Councilor can be contacted through the above Parish Clerk link.

Council meetings are normally held on Thursdays, on a five weekly cycle, with the exception of August (see Calendar for dates). All meetings are held in Calvert Green Community Hall and start at 7.45 pm. All meetings are open to the public with provision made at the end of each meeting for residents of the Parish to ask questions or raise matters of concern. Often there is also a councillor from Aylesbury Vale DC or Buckinghamshire CC in attendance as well.

The purpose of the Council is to represent the interests of the whole community. They do this through their involvement in a range of local groups, direct contact with local people and wide ranging consultations with the local community and other Councils..

The Council has few direct responsibilities, but is an influential party in representing the community to Aylesbury Vale DC and Buckinghamshire CC, particularly at the moment with the issue of grass-cutting of the open spaces and verges. Currently, there are also issues regarding the future use of the employment land in Sandstone Close and potential future developments at the Calvert Landfill Site. The Council also acts as the landlord for Calvert Green Community Hall.

The Council employs one employee – the Parish Clerk.
