What it means to be a member to the Youth Club.
It will cost you £5.00 per year to be a member. The youth club will provide our members something in addition to what is offered by their families and school. The task is to offer a safe environment so you are able to be part of a positive learning and encourage personal, emotional and enhance social development.
Each session will cost £1.00.
The benefit of being a member is that you are covered by our insurance and affiliated members to Action4Youth.
Our reason that Calvert Green Youth Club is Affiliated to Action4Youth
Action4Youth is a voluntary youth organisation for clubs in Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes. They provide services and promote activities designed to make the youth work in affiliated clubs and youth organisations as helpful and effective as possible for the young people in membership, and the youth leaders.
Action4Youth supports club-based and other youth work to help young people in their physical, personal and social development to realise their full potential as members of the community.
How working with Buckingham Country Council can help our youth club
A wide range of activities are available, both indoors and outdoors, which will enhance and contribute to the delivery of the curriculum e.g. challenging, confidence building, improving fitness, educating, developing skills.
Activities range from Film Making, Driving, Graffiti & Mural
Projects, Dance, Young Bands, DJ’ing and Youth Theatre.
Throughout all of their services young people are encouraged to be involved in the decisions on what is on offer, to shape the services to meet their needs.
To ensure they reach as many young people as possible and bring services to Calvert in more rural settings, they have a range of mobile activities including, a mobile Climbing wall, mobile Skatepark andStudio.
